ABOUT ME
Anna Kataian was born in 1987 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. After studying at the State Academy of Design and Arts in Kharkiv, Ukraine and obtaining a degree in Art Restoration, Anna worked as a freelance restorer and artist for several years, mainly in the field of oil painting. Anna was engaged in oil painting and teaching.
Since 2016, she has been mainly engaged in watercolor painting with the image of different cities as leitmotifs. Anna uses travel to the past and the future as her main source of inspiration, which is also one of her hobbies.
She cultivates a realistic style conveyed through her own watercolor painting technique. She loves light. The light that gives architecture a million shades. The shadow that conceals the answers to various questions. She loves accents… that create a mood in her work. She loves to paint. And give her emotions to others. What makes the work recognizable and popular with collectors.
Anna's paintings are kept in many private collections around the world.
